In my 3rd year of studies, I chose to go deeper in illustration and took the Picture book studio course guided by Rutu Modan. I think that one of the most challenging parts of illustrating a children’s book is the fact that I can’t always draw what I like but also have to draw what I need even if it’s not my passion. Yet, the story about the Crocodile is written in a high level of detail and it was really important to me to go along with it and also find the right space to add my own interest.
