Economic review is published every year by Directorate of Economics & Statistic, Rajasthan. The brief that was given for designing cover for the year 2019-20 was as follows - 

1. Use tricolors

2. Minimal

3. Use numbers

Following design was suggested on the concept that -

1. 0 was discovered by India, so prominent use of that particular digit

2. Statistics involves the graphical representation. Zero in turn has been formed as a pie chart

3. Upward arrow denotes the progress
