Project Title: Woodpecker

Artist Statement: Illegal deforestation has been criticized in this project. By comparing the head of a human figure to a saw, it is intended to explain the damage they cause to nature. There are buildings in the puddle formed by the blood flowing from the tree. The blood analogy used indicates that the trees died and that the buildings were built to replace the trees that were killed.
