As we all know Frances McDormand is one of the best actresses working today! Period. Her performances are carefully picked and perfectly polished as well as her personality. Form me she is one of the most humble and human actors out there. Maintaining a clear head and principals, being able to survive in Hollywood keeping her personal life to herself and growing along with her picked roles.
The Academy awards are no indicator to a let’s say great performance, because like everything it’s subjective, but for me it’s the Super Bowl of the year, so it matters. Even though the past year has changed everything as we know it, nothing never truly changes. Like years before, the Oscars will take place, though a little later in the year!
Frances McDormand received her second Academy award for her performance in Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri in 2018. Even though I didn’t love the film, the performance was great, because I mean… Frances! It’s been only two years and it really looks like she won’t chill any time soon, because even from the trailer of Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland you can cee that Frances has got her third baby in her hands! Don't want to jinx it though!
