Problem statement: Working in a hot and humid environment, drink stall hawkers undergo the high risks of scalding themselves, whilst applying the lid on the take-away cups. 

Solution: A lid applicator that is able to apply the lids onto the take-away cups without coming in close contact with the lip of the take-away cups.
