Torn - Poem by Gabriella Galaviz

Imagining, the meaning of what I feel about Life isn't what it's made out to be. What I had pictured in my mind when I had wrote "Torn" was an image of how we're small and very innocent and are happy children. Until we grow up to be an adult who find out the truth about life and how cruel people can be, so full of hatred and becoming selfish instead of selfless. We begin to be influenced by different sides of both parties and general public opinions. Drifting from the solution and making the problem more difficult than it needs to be we find ourselves stuck in a vicious cycle. We're taught to work hard for a purpose until we're called home and still have things to forever work towards to improve and making the next step a stronger passion of belief and culture. Stapling our mark before we leave and finding a purpose of what we make of this "Torn" existence.
