For our friend and client Erlend Øye we have built the first part of a project in beautiful Siracusa, Sicily. Part one is a staircase to the top of a branchless tree nine meters tall. It was completed in one week.
Part two will be to build a piece of furniture at to top. Made from steel it will enable you to sit two people in safety and comfort facing the sea, the beautiful city and the sunset with Mount Etna in the background. A very beautiful place to be.

The staircase is connected to the tree with two pairs of arms. Both with joints that enable the staircase to move with the tree.
