The Girasole's Italian restaurant was in need of a rebrand to bring their menus into the new millenium. Girasole is a fun, family-friendly Italian restaurant located in the trendy Shadyside neighborhood. They were looking for a colorful, beautiful design that would appeal to their wide range of customers.
I thought a hand-painted approach would bring warmth and character to their business. I spent a good amount of time painting all of the Italian on the three menus (Wine, Lunch and Dinner). The overall effect I think speaks well not only to their business but to their family as well. Work completed at MCM Communications, Summer 2013.
