Black Box Series
Black Box is a series from 2017 that follow six different people in six different stages and situations in life. These people have one thing in common; they live in an ideal society in which everything is perfect. But is that really the case? This anthology series shows the dark sides of a twisted, robotic society that is far from being as perfect as it first seems.
The series was made of the 1st & 2nd-year MID-students (Media ICT and design, bachelor) at Volda University College.
As part of a group exam, we were responsible for the series PR and behind the scenes content. This resulted in 4 videos; a series trailer, an episode trailer, a behind the scenes video, and a premier video.

THE SERIES TRAILER
The trailer was made for the entire series, all 6 episodes. I watched through and helped pick out the different scenes as well as editing them together.
EPISODE TRAILER
As well as making a series trailer, every group was given an episode to produce content for. Our exam group got episode 5, "Queen B." In this video, I watched the episode and helped pick scenes that we were going to use. Then I helped edit the clips and sound.

BEHIND THE SCENES
We interviewed the actors, production manager, director, and executive producer. We then combined the interview footage with behind the scenes and episode footage. This video took the longest to make as it required a lot of planning and preparation. We had to contact and find a time that worked for the interviewees as well as making an interview guide. It also took longer to put together as we had more footage to look through and edit.
For this video, I filmed some of the interviews as well as making a lot of the graphics like the name tags and animations. We made the interview guide together.
THE PREMIER
We filmed the entire premier at Rokken as well as interviewing the production manager and director again.
In this video, I helped set up the lights and find the right interview spots. I also filmed some of the clips.
