Durban University Project, we had to do for drawing subject. We had to choose a market and then interview or basically capture the core essence of the subject. So i basically choose to do it on Inyanga, who basically is a meduim,herbalist, amongst other special areas enlightned and gifted with supernatural powers and abilities including connecting with your ancestors amongst others.

 

I'd like to thank uBab' Herbert Hlongwana for the oppurtunity of letting me interview and welcoming me into his world, I've learned alot and have alot of respect for this man. 

 

This is the first of the nyanga series, I've illustrated and hope you get a sense of warmth, and vibe from this amazing man!
