Recognizing two athletic events in World athletics day 2020
Sri Lanka is country with well determined and dedicated athletes. They have been able to secure world rankings in top 100 ranks according to recent world ranking of IAAF, Among them two athletics events of long jump and long distance running in which Prasad Wimalasiri and Nilani Rathnayake respectively, was able to place first in Sri Lankan rankings are recognized and appreciated in this stamp. The stamp design was done by developing graphics in low Polly illustration style.
