The goal of this collection was to experiment with pattern creation utilizing the pattern tool in Adobe Illustrator. My collection of patterns is named High Tea, and it was based off of the typical tradition of taking tea at high noon. My hero pattern incorporates multiple items that would be found at a tea party, such as a teapot, sugar cubes, honey, and a cup and saucer. My secondary and blender patterns use tea bags and leaves as a pseudo-floral pattern, which helps to tie them into my main design and push my ultimately feminine design choices. I used a very soft color palette for this project to keep with the delicate theme.
