MOVING LANDSCAPE MOVING CREATURE E M I L Y L I J U N Q I
PRATT INSTITUTE | MFA
Inspired by the design of Reversible Destiny Lofts by Arakawa Gins, this spatial design combines the curvilinear and geometric forms to create a surreal exhibition space. The colors are also inspired by the loft but are only used in small detailed areas. The majority of surfaces are using the authentic colors of materials. The wood color brings a natural and calm atmosphere to the space. The concrete and metal are more industrial. The floorings got patterns from hand drawings that adds more casualties into the space. With this style along with small areas of bright colors and "3-d projections" in the space, the whole scene looks a little quirky and fun.
