Brief Create a woven narrative combining three texts: Diane Ackerman’s chapter on smell from A Natural History of the Senses; Decades of Decadence by Jessica Linnay; a sense journal survey of bath and beauty products.
Solution Together the three texts create a book which is an investigation of the sense of smell and how it relates to fashion, beauty, and the human desire to present an ideal self to the public. The texts are supported by info graphic interpretations of product surveys and high fashion illustrations.
