Nature's Playground

Nature's Playground
This past September a group of friends and I went on an overnight backpacking trip in Washington's North Cascades. After half a day on the trail we climbed up to  popular peak in the area which was rather crowded with other hikers. Changing our plans on the spot we navigated our way back down to a secluded location and set up camp. As sunset approached we then scrambled up a neighboring summit and were blessed with incredible views of the surrounding mountain peaks. The next morning we woke up early and hustled our way back up the first peak to enjoy a sunrise without the swarms of hikers who had been there the previous day. The memories as well as these photos are well worth the temporary pain and fatigue it took to get here.
