Title: The Night Walkers
Premise: A top down twin-stick shooter, where the player must either fend off waves of zombies, or make their way to a safe house.
Role: UI Designer
Platform: Unreal Engine 4
What worked what didn't: Functionally the game is pretty solid, and the two different win states add for a bit of extra variety on replays. However the experience itself is very short, and other than to find the safe house, there is very little reason to explore the map.
What I changed and how it improved: Originally the players stats on the HUD were represented by numbers, but it was very boring to look at. To remedy this I created a working health bar for the player, and represented the player's ammo through arrows that would appear and disappear.
