I wanted my movie poster to be able to tell a story on its own, so I used a relatively clean design that allowed for an easy to read tag line—one that was sure to make people wonder "what's that movie about?"

This was one of those rare projects that really let my creativity break loose.

Objective: Create an HDR panoramic photograph of a landscape and create a fantasy image out of it

In this piece I used a simple flock of birds to lead the reader's eye through every part of the cover.

Many people look at this spread with initial distaste, for much of the text therein is very difficult to read. On closer inspection, however, they often realize that, that was deliberate, as the article talks about the dos and don'ts of typography.

Perspectives On Love
Poster
Not only does this piece portray two extremely different typefaces artistically and textually, but it also describes each font's traits and style in the form of two allegorical love stories involving differing perspectives.
