LITTLE CUBS DAY CARE 
Overview:
Little Cubs Daycare  is a school where kids are champions of their own development. They learn differently: in an empathic, curious, healthy, kindness way. Based in Kampala, in Uganda, the school welcomes children from 6 months to 3 and a half years old, offering them a reassuring and stimulating living space conducive to development and where everyone’s rhythm is respected. The founders asked us to create a visual and verbal identity that reflected their unique essence.

Approach
The goal was to create a visual identity system that is inspiring, multifunctional, and express Simba as a main character from the Lion King that speaks to kids and parents. The logo is built by a lion cub head matched with typography inspired by the values and the Lion King.  Its axes: mindfulness, learning, play and sharing. Together, they turn into a new language that connects with its values and daily activities. The logo contains a lot of details and colors that bring joyfulness and invite you to take a pause and stay focus to appreciate the existence of each piece. This new language goes beyond the logo. It’s now an entire iconography. Symbols that play, dialogue, and form a bond with everyone from kids to parents. This is how Little Cubs Daycare speaks.
