Brief
For this project, I used my Fitbit's heartbeat monitor as departing point to build a concept around numbers and their significance. In order to determine how we are affected by the things around us, I developed a concept around our heart rates' different BPM's and how it is influenced by different elements. Over a period of two weeks, I measured my heart rate and documented when it spiked or relaxed. I created an editorial piece where I connected each documented event or reason for heart rate abnormality to a specific medical term or explanation why or how the heart is influenced. I was inspired by my own anxious emotions during lockdown in 2020 COVID-period.
