A keepsake designed with Go Native for Accel's Seed To Scale program
The keepsake symbolises Accel’s focus on partnering with exceptional founders in their journey from seed to scale. The form and design reflects the core aspects of Accel’s role in the journey: Seed, Nurture, Build, Support, Grow and Scale.
Inspired by Tibet's mani stones, which have long been believed to hold power that aids in divine manifestation, the keepsake is a combination of wooden blocks of different sizes, engraved with unique symbols that each depict a stage of growth and development. The ancient myth of the stones is reflected in the engravings: They reflect both the believer’s current state and intention.
The piece is proudly crafted by the artisans of Channapatna in Karnataka, using their age old mastery of the craft of wood work & toy making.
Conceptualised to communicate Accel's intent and to signify their role in the users' journey, the form was intentionally designed to allow interaction and participation. The user is required to assemble and balance it by hand, enabling them to participate in the process of building and stabilising. This reminds the user of their end goal; something they stand by and would essentially keep as a reminder in their workspace.
