XD Design Challenge on Indicators
Real Estate Tour of "The Colin"- Inspired by Colin Wei
Challenge Prompt

Design the virtual tour experience for a real estate website. Allow users to view different rooms and design an indicator displaying which room they are in.

In order to begin I chose a basic Desktop frame and I copied Colin's photo (with consent) to my board.

This challenge seemed fairly easy but the main meal of this challenge was imaging the inside of the building.

I spent the majority of this project looking for a decent panoramic image that would match the outside theme of Colin's architecture.

What I love and hate about the image I chose for the interior is that the window view is showing mountains. A delightful view of nature. However the map featured on the side of the image is showing downtown Chicago. I chose that because it was meaningful to Colin.

I left the information architecture on this challenge very basic. I included basic amenities for what might be included in a living space like this.

I got all my Icons from the Noun Project and made sure to indicate the room to room view by marking the navigating bar on the right side of the main photo.

Once I got all my art boards to match the layout of the site., I scrolled the main masked image to each part of the indicated room. I marked the navigation bar on the right and moved the blue highlight elipse over the room that was being featured.

As the User clicks on the buttons of the room, the image will change to show the room.
