TRIMO URBAN CRASH / competition project 2009 /finalists

Through the analysis of the location we took main directions and lines in order to arrange our structure inside given borders (7,2x7,2x7,2m).

First we concentrated on the 2D aspect of the location and created linear diagrams. We chose the one that best suited the directions and graphical aesthetycs. By placing the diagram in space, it had to gain the third dimention. The archicetural structure was planned as a spatial gesture with coincidental purpose. The banner is merging from the ground, then splitting in two separate ways, bouncing off the borders.

Our structure serves primary as a meeting point adapted to its creative surroundings. It can be used as a stage, a site for cultural events, a playground, it can be an empty canvas, a bar, a bed, it is an adoptable versatile gesture that can serve an unexpected number of purposes.

Different heights and slopes of panels contibute to functional variositiy of the structure.
The instalation is constructed of Trimo steel construction coated in Trimoterm fireproof facade panels.
