Kafka's metamorphosis ends up being an artist's book, since it uses a somewhat peculiar communication to convey the story. The design, every technical choice and every element that makes up this book come together with the aim of introducing you fully into the plot.  At the same time, another characteristic is the final need for this book to be physically reproduced, due to the importance of being able to touch and manipulate it so that the communication is complete.
The main idea is based on representing how the protagonist of this story feels, Gregorio Samsa, a humble merchant who is turned into a giant beetle overnight, and with this, his whole life is completely ruined. As if they were an accumulation of all his emotions, the book begins at the end and the pages, on one side only and being irregular (different shape and material) are added little by little, forming this intricate and disturbing story.
