Glitch-Out VR is Flight School's newest VR gaming experience. Players are the last line of defense on a glitching space station, overrun by annoying, flying bug bots. To promote the game, Flight School asked the Ringling Collaboratory to design a tradeshow exhibit for the SXSW tech conference in Austin. A required portion of the booth was a tactile, interactive experience that mirrored the game. Thus, the Bot Blaster was born.

       The Bot Blaster lets guests grab a hold of their own blaster and eradicate the manic bots loose in the vent system. First designed in Photoshop, then constructed through foam, wood, and truss, the bot blaster uses real running bots and spinning blades to make a difficult, engaging game experience.
