“Chaos” is a non-representational art made through dancing/doing hand movements while painting on a canvas. It was made with extreme emotions that I, the artist, wish for the audience to feel as well. Its purpose is to connect and relate to the audience’s experiences and feelings. I want them to get lost by looking at the painting and just free the emotions they have. Given the title, the piece is about longing in the midst of disaster, disturbance, war, and of course, chaos. 

I used acrylic paint in painting this artwork and my hands, which served as my paintbrush. I covered my hands with acrylic paint and painted it in sync with the music I'm listening to. The movement and colors that were used aim to convey the message of the song and the artist's feelings. This encourages fellow artists as well to not limit themselves with the conventional way of painting with the use of a brush. This is an attempt to connect painting with other skills such as dancing.
