This piece is inspired by the Uintah forests surrounding the mountains of northern Utah.  It was requested by a relative of mine who had recently move there and wanted the artwork in her home to reflect the beauty of her new place. She tends to gravitate towards more neutral colors, so that is why I decided on a neutral toned palette. The time frame that I had set to finish this painting was around a month and a half like most of my other oil paintings I have on this site.
