Icelandic Architecture

Iceland's architecture and sense of space is amongst the best in Europe.
Due to its abundance of geothermal energy and mineral wool insulation, Icelanders were given the privilege of having large windows in their homes. Thus, allowing natural light and the surrounding landscape to invade the interiors.

All in all, Icelanders have a great respect for its nature and try to minimize their human presence as much as possible.
