Balsam Oil Packaging Design
Label and Package designed for a small family business. Designing on this project, we had to respect and work with some restrictions. Client was a small family business and the quantity of products was small. We had to work with no expensive solutions, no big amounts of printings, but with economical papers and ways to give client the ability to printing easily herself the whole packaging. Despite the needs of the client, we had to deal with a modern, minimal and high-end aesthetics, such as the high value content of our bottle.
We worked with a transparent label. We wanted to give all the attention to red herbal oil inside the bottle and let it color the whole label.
The paper we use for the packaging of the product is a common A4 paper. This way client can print it herself. We give the opportunity to use all kinds of colored papers she wants, to play with the possibilities and have the pleasure to make unique packages. This is why you use simple, clear shapes and fonts.
We also designed a small book, hanging from the neck of the bottle. In this book, you can read by simple drawings the story of this herbal oil - how it is hand collected on the mountains of Greece and how it this deep red color emerges.
