Boat Lagoon Yachting (BLY) is SE Asia’s leading broker for some of the most prestigious brands in the world of yachting. The owners wanted and identity that would reflect this leadership position. The new identity was successfully launched at the Singapore Boat Show 2017. Inspired by nautical elements the unique ‘BLY’ monogram captures the yachting lifestyle in a mark of sophistication.
BLY Monogram

The monogram itself is inspired by insignias often associated with luxury brands and suggests BLY’s pedigree. It also applies itself well as a seal device with the potential of being used without the name ‘Boat Lagoon Yachting’ when the brand gains strong recall value. Wrapped in a colour palette of cool turquoise and navy blue that references closely the marine lifestyle, the BLY brand is overall a picture of understated elegance, a symbolism of the desires of the high life.
Result

The new brand design system guides Boat Lagoon Yachting in the way they manage their services and how they approach interactions with customers and business partners. The success of BLY post-rebranding is evident from the multiple awards they have secured in the filed of Yachting across various categories.
