For my Graphic Design class I had to come up with 7 creative strategies for each thing. Then we had to choose an everyday object and I decided to do a match. I really had to reach beyond what I like to do and it took a lot of thinking. My favorite ones ended up being the material change and the simile. I did these all in photoshop which was something that I really hadn't had any experience with until now.
Literally from all my creative ideas I came up with combining a match with a fridge. I thought is kind of worked.
I decided to go with a match lighting a huge rocket which is like comparing what a small match compared to a huge rocket. Kind of like it's just a small rocket but it's not.
I wanted to go with the Isolation for a match left out from the birthday cake. I had fun designing this one.
This one is one of my favorites and I decided to compare how this leaf is similar to a flame.
This one I changed so many times with ideas, but came to this one which is someone writing on paper with a match which you wouldn't normally see.
For this one I wanted to make the tent look like the match's flame. I thought it worked out pretty well.
This one is definitely my favorite. I actually did that design with the ketchup and took the photo of it myself. Then I combined it with a random fry.
