New Logo for Longy School of Music of Bard College
The previous logo was a combination of the existing Longy School of Music logo with the Bard College logo, when Longy became part of the Bard College network of schools around 2013. In the previous iteration, "Bard College" was significantly larger than "School of Music", so one of the main goals of this project was to establish a more of an equilibrium, while emphasizing Longy's mission as a music school. Like the school, the new logo combines classic and modern sensibilities through typeface as well as an updated brand color, while still integrating the original Bard College logo.
