#AkuBaca A Literacy Movement Campaign

#AkuBaca is a campaign of the Kompas Gramedia group to increase children’s reading interests in the remote area. This program invites us to donate to an ATM Baca in the selected Gramedia Book Store around the city. #AkuBaca will curate the donated books and send them to 10 TBM (Taman Bacaan Masyarakat/ a community reading park mainly in rural areas) each month. We worked together as a group to make the storyline and chose a style that is easy to understand by the audiences accessible on the @KompasGramedia instagram. 

The storyline is pretty straightforward. It starts with visualizing the differences of us and kids in the rural areas about the accessibility to books. We have the easy access to buy books and read it, but how about the kids in the rural areas? How to give kids the access to knowledge? 

Many people didn't know the existence of the TBM in all-over the islands, there are so many TBM, TBM like libraries which are in a simple house, on a moving one-using cars or motorcycles, on a boat, and even on a horse! They try to give the access to people inlands but there aren't that many books to distribute.  

That is why #AkuBaca invites us to donate our books, used unused, read unread, to the nearest Book ATM in your bookstore.
