My first project in my Spring 2011 Typography class was creating 10 recipe cards. We had the option of using a pre-chosen set of recipes or picking our own. I chose to pick my own, so I could take it to the next level by adding a theme and a branding. Sweet Tooth Recipes! My recipes focused on sweet things, of course! I made 10 recipes, 10 blank recipe cards, and two conversion chart cards.
The textured background were the funnest part! All of the photos were taken by me, and relate to each recipe in some way or another.
