2D Digital Art
in this course, we were supposed to create 2D digital arts with different subjects and categories.

Introduction:
The first project was related to producing a comic book character, which I picked a scene of Batman's fight, and I developed the scenario into several layers to draw a complete 2D art.
The next project was to create a landscape scene for a video game. To do this project, we had to choose a theme from the games that already exist on the market as our case study, and I picked the Outlast game theme as my case study and reference, and I started designing from the first step and created a new Landscape scene.

The third project was about digital 2D portrait art. We have to change the portrait of a friend to a cartoon theme and develop the art with several layers.
A comic Book Character:
In this layer, I drew the first line with the hard round brush.
By using different brushes, I filled the lines in the second layer and have some ink splashes on my painting.
In this layer, I added the red splashes and shades.
In the final layer, I added motion by the help of the motion blur option to create the feel of the movement of the scene.
Second Project
2D Video Game Scene
This project has been divided into 3 main layers: Background, Middle ground and foreground.

In this layer, I drew a series of buildings and cranes. By repeating them in the background irregularly and using different hues I  created a sense of the perspective. By adding red and orange colours I tried to make a cartoony sunset
In this layer, I painted the buildings darker to show that they are closer. I also started drawing a lake with a sunken boat. My goal in this design was to expose an abandoned city because my reference was the Outlast game that has a dark nature.
The buildings in the front layer are bigger and darker to demonstrate their distance in the whole picture.
I created a complete landscape with the combinations of the previous layers.
2D Digital Portrait Art
In this project, I turned a portrait of a friend into a 2D digital Art.
First, I made a colour palette from the picture. Second I deform the main picture in order to make a cartoony version of the portrait.
After deifying a lighter colour for the background, I picked a soft round brush to draw the first sketch.
I drew the outlines of the picture and added dark and light shadows with different brushes.
Due to the light shades and colours of the reference photo, I started filling in the outlines
In each layer, I added more details and developed the drawing with the help of the reference colours.
In this layer I finalized the details, shadows for the face and the jacket. With the help of different brushes and changing the opacities
I drew all the details of the face such as beard, shadows. I also created the bumps of the leather jacket by using light-dark colours.
Conclusion:
This course seemed very challenging at first, but as time went on I realized my creativity in digital design and it was very enjoyable. I realized that I can draw any subject in digital painting with the help of digital tools.
