McBit Crypto Wallet was power by World Cloud Ventures UIUX & Tech Team. There are 2 challenges in building this digital product, those are The Digital Product User Experience & Digital Product Distribution.

CHALLENGE 1: THE DIGITAL USER EXPERIENCE

As an UIUX Designer, Ken Lim T.S. , crafting the journey and communicate with stakeholder are the "staple food" for crafting a functional digital product. In the other hand, we need to give a soul to the digital product, McBit Crypto Wallet. This is the timing where Illustration Artist, Melanie Lim, play her role in leveling the digital product standard by giving McBit a soul.

CHALLENGE 2: DIGITAL PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION

Due to some client request, we have to priorities to build the product in web based and wrap with react native skeleton. This will lead to the app distribution journey been painful for the customers. McBit has to download the iOS and Android application from a website link.

It is hard deadline & short time frame for a crypto wallet project to be delivered. It is a mix feeling for us, but we are still glad that we able to keep the digital product soul via strong UI Illustration Art Direction

The project take about 3 months to complete with 4 talents contribution in a 5 working days manner.

BRAINSTORMING & CRAFTING PROCESS:

Ken Lim & Melanie Lim

We constantly did a thunder brainstorming about the McBit soul. The McBit logo was approved after 3 days of discussion with stakeholder. This lead us to 2 day to finalize the McBit soul part. We decide to use Mascot approach to bring the flat screen alive. We believe the McBit able to do the communication with McBit customer.

UIUX CRAFTING PROCESS:

Ken Lim & Melanie Lim

Ken Lim, UIUX Designer, has quickly craft the flow with low fidelity to firm up the McBit Transaction flow. He has collected all the unhappy scenario & cheerful needed screen for Melanie Lim, Illustration Artist to craft the McBit Mascot scene. The purpose of this process is to achieve the high turn over of High Fidelity & Tech Ready screen. Plus, in the same time able to achieve the graphic communication with McBit customer via UI Illustration.

WORKSHOP CONDUCT: Ken Lim

While this project was building, USDT coin is a trend in Crypto Market. Our client is riding this wave and request us to build one BTC & USDT crypto wallet. The app dashboard is the most challenging part, it is because customer & client are requesting an easy to view Crypto & Fiat currency conversion. I have tried few approach and we found out swiping left / right to view conversion is the seamless way and less cognitive load for our customer through some testing.
