Wedding invitations designed for a friend. The project brief stated that the designs should take cues from the venue’s art deco interiors without suggesting the wedding itself was a themed event. After some initial research on the Art Deco movement and 1920s Graphic Design, I created some repeatable patterns as a base.

I then experiment with fonts and layouts, attempting to find ways to produce something modern that still manages to reference back to the Deco period. 

Below is the end result. Once the final designs were chosen, I made a menu card and RSVP in a matching style. A gold foil effect was to further add to the art deco theme.
