Thursday’s film screening schedule in 2019 (organized by SALT - a renown arts and culture foundation in Istanbul) focused on a compilation of urban cities in the last decade
of the 20th century.
Exploring the significant changes in cities of the ’90s, the selected fiction and documentary
films reflected on the preservation, interpretation, and even erasure of the recent past
within the individual and collective memories.
The poster’s visual was mainly inspired by classic VCR cassettes from the 90s, reflecting
the content of the program itself.
