DESCRIPTION

Vellenex, the Malaysia Cryptocurrency Trading Platform was power by World Cloud Ventures UIUX & Tech Team.

There are 3 challenges in building this digital product, those are Product Knowledge, Tech Challenge & User Experience Support.

CHALLENGE 1: PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

As an UIUX Designer, Ken Lim T.S. , have built quite a number of digital wallet but not a trading platform yet. There are a lot of ground study need to be done, such as Landscape Analysis, Q&A with Tech Team, and Thunder Workshop with Stakeholder. All the information was absorbed and turn into building a more target audience driven Malaysia Trading Platform.

CHALLENGE 2: TECH KNOWLEDGE

We need to build 3 sub category product in order to make sure Vellenex Trading Platform work. Those are Public Website, Crypto Wallet and Crypto Trading Platform. The mechanism of the trading platform need to be strong in term of Tech & User Experience. After UIUX designer complete the design communication with stakeholder, the Tech Team start the work. It took Tech Team 2 months to complete the basic trading features to be stable for Limit Order only. Plus, scrap away the old version of Vellenex

CHALLENGE 3: USER EXPERIENCE SUPPORT

Due to the priority of the Vellenex Malaysia Trading Platform release, we unable to support mobile responsive user experience. We have to compromise the mobile responsive build, that is our challenge for user experience support. Vellenex Malaysia Trading Platform will only be supported on Desktop and Tablet landscape screen display

The project take about 4 months to complete with 6 talents contribution in a 5 working days manner.

WORKSHOP CONDUCT: Ken Lim

We found out the placement of BUY / SELL component in Trading Platform will affect trader behavior. So, we decide to leverage the F-Pattern user experience to enhance the Trading Platform by study the entry level trader step to create an order.

In the other hand, we also decide to use colors to differentiate the 3 digital products that will help customer to avoid lost in the Vellenex digital product ecosystem. Please find the color explanation below:

VELLENEX PUBLIC WEBSITE = White Color

VELLENEX CRYPTO WALLET = Dark Blue Color

VELLENEX TRADING PLATFORM = Black Color

THE STUDY: Ken Lim

After a view round of discussion with stakeholder and tech team, we have come to same agreement that, we prioritize to release Desktop Version of Vellenex. According to my landscape analysis, a lot of entry level crypto trader, they prefer to do crypto trading via Desktop or Tablet, it is because the familiarity of Trading Platform Dashboard Interface, eg. entry-level trader of Binance Exchange.
