Character Introduction- Markl
Markl is Howl's apprentice in the movie of " Howl's moving Castle" and a close friend of Sophie. Markl was found by Howl as he slept in front of the door step of Howl's castle, Howl told him to get inside but he never really asked him to leave. The rumors spread that Markl is an orphan in Porthaven.
Markl helps Howl to run his shop and disguise himself as an old man.
