Iters is an IT training institute. It was focusing on helping IT students and newly graduated individuals to prepare to face the real-world challenge. In 2018, Iters asked me to design an English logotype as a part of their brand identity. Based on the client's request, this design had visualised the sense of effectiveness, trustable and professionalism, delivered the concept of Information Technology. When I looked at this project again recently, I realised the way I design this logo might be too safe; it should be more exciting and powerful against some stereotypes about "Information Technology". So I redesigned Iters Branding for making it more unique and interesting. Firstly, I designed a new typeface for logotype. This new one looks high but narrow and some parts of the letters are quite unusual. The new characteristics could create uniqueness and fun. Another change for the visual identity is colour, I replaced the old blue with stronger colours to get high contrast result. So the branding became more exciting and passionate. In order to reveal the "IT" background, I have also adapted some operation symbals in computer programming to this branding system for visual enhancement, so that the visual identity could carry itself across different media.
