Celebration of nature pigment

The project is based on a celebration of colors from the environment, the craft of natural pigment to extract colors from natural materials around us. Initially inspired by eco-printing; to explore the process myself, and create my own natural pigment to create a range of colors and textures. The art of natural colors with refresh materials to show how creating natural dyes can help connect with nature, and explore a sustainable way to bring colors into life
The project consists of photography, dyed paper, cotton swatches, acrylic wool to replicate the process.

While eco-dyeing is relatively more common for fabrics, I tried mixing beetroot pigment in thick alovera jel extract and managed to reach a consistency that keep the ink more bright and thick.
