THAI-LUAN is how to call a name of Thai lineage in Thailand, for example Thai Chinese or Thai Mon. This idea comes from the fact that, in Thailand, there are a lot of ethnic groups scattered all over the country, which is the major cause of racial discrimination.
This project created for all people in order to learn and understand more deeply about Thai lineage by bringing a nesting doll (Matryoshka) to present a number of each ethnic group in Thailand. A big doll conveys to Thai people, and each small doll represents a different ethnic group. Therefore, when you open up a big doll you, will see a small dolls inside. Besides, when you see a doll that is scattered and puts them together, you will have only one big doll. Thus, this means that no matter what ethnicity you are, we all are Thais.
