Read! Singapore launched by NLB on 24 May 2005. This initiative, adapted from the highly successful reading programmes around the world like the "One Book, One City" project in the US, Australia and others, was conceived in alignment with the Government's strategic outcome of "Community", to encourage communal reading, followed by facilitated discussions on the selected story.
Asian Folktales features 2013′s selection of titles for younger readers, and is available in English-Chinese, English-Malay and English-Tamil with 3 different stories title.
