I try very hard to keep any signs of humanity out of my images, as it generally conflicts with that whole "loving Mother Nature" thing. But sometimes, like this sunset in January 2008, all other considerations come second to just capturing the scene as it unfolds before you. An interesting note to this scene is that the wharf that the sailboats are moored to was torn away during a storm in December 2018, leaving just the breakwater itself to serve as the foreground to future spectacular sunrises.
