CORE2291 Design Lab 1: Project 2 Illustrator Techniques
In this project I used Illustrator techniques to redraw the Coca-Cola logo. The deliverables were the AI file of the Coca-Cola redraw art that includes the Coca-Cola tracing image, the AI files for my patterns, and a ZIP project 2 folder that also has everything for my presentation board. On Behance is where I'll show my progress through the project and Adobe Portfolio will have my presentation board. I learned more about the shape builder tool and now I think I'll use it more since it was so helpful. For most of the techniques I knew them already from prior experience and the digital lessons I took freshman year.
Illustrator Techniques
At this point I had only just started outlining the logo.
I filled in the text and marked the holes for the letters.
I used the shape builder tool to merge my shapes and cut the holes out of the letters.
I created a copy of my redraw logo for safety.
I created an outline for the text if for some reason the font would not be the same on another device.
I edited and created the gradient for the background.
