Fly High Vineyard is located in the Applegate Valley region of Southern Oregon. Their story is unique in that their grapes grow alongside a private airstrip, used by co-founder David King in his plane building days. The winery is currently comprised of three family generations, and they try not to take the wine business so seriously. Wine should be fun, and it's just grape juice, after all.
Fly High is sold in retail locations, online, and through wholesale, not through a tasting room like many of the other vineyards in the Applegate. The need for their bottles to stand out among the crowd at stores is, therefore, stronger. These shelf talkers were developed to give the customer a little information before their purchase; listing food pairings and what they can expect from the flavor and aroma.
