MIXED MEDIA
Each of these pieces demonstrate different drawing mediums, shading skills, and techniques. Examples of texture can be seen drawn in the sharp contrast of metal, or the smooth pencil strokes of fuzzy fur or ceramic pottery. These drawings feature a selection of graphite pencils ranging from the softest 8B to the hardest 6H, allowing for shadowing and blending. Permanent pens and alcohol ink markers were used on specialized paper with a layered technique to give a realistic effect. You may find examples of scribbling, hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling in many of my pieces.
