Wedding Materials
The watercolor leaves woven throughout the pieces reference the bride's dress, the ceremony's Kauai garden venue, the leaf ropes used in the hand-fasting ceremony and the "Two Trees" reading written by Janet Miles.

Wedding invitation
This elegant box invitation features personalized luggage tags, a map to the Na 'Aina Kai Botanical Gardens and a hand sewn and bound booklet featuring information about Kauai and guest accommodations.

Wedding Program & Butterfly box
The watercolor leaves and the two sticks that hold this program closed complete the artistic depiction of Janet Miles' "Two Trees" on the wedding program.

Wedding Butterfly box
The hangtag on the small box handed out during the ceremony subtly references the wings of the enclosed butterfly. It also contains a short explanation of the American Indian legend that says a released butterfly will carry the liberator's wishes to the grateful Great Spirit in the heavens.

Reception save-the-date
"And so the binding is made." This phrase from the wedding hand-fasting ceremony inspired the Save-the-Date for the Minnesota reception.

Reception Invitation & table favors
The metallic papers used for the reception invitation and travel bug favors brought a touch of the copper and wood clad U of M McNamara Alumni Center's elegance to the invites while providing continuity with the ceremony programs materials.
