Masters Exhibition Studio Showcases

Three Massey University Masters students were selected to be showcased as examples. Two were part of The Campaign For Wool to show New Zealands wool industry on a world stage. A combonation of footage from Rachelle Smith and myself and Directed by Michelle Hollis and myself. These were created as a project for Openlab Massey
Rebekah Looked into the dying process in modern wools and experimented with different sustainable techniques. Wool Yarns sponsered and supported her during her investigations.
Stacey Ellis looked at upcycling wool waste, traditionaly used as insulation, into more valuable materials and products. CRONZ was interested in her studies and are looking at incorperating her results into their production line.
Lisa Gabel investigated the need for human beings to recieve light, her reserach, prototypes and experiments resulted in a new way of lighting desks, offices and spaces in order to mimic the natural light humans are being deprived of in their every day activites.
