While in class I was able to engross myself in many issues management situations during a semester long practicum. Put into groups and assigned a real world company we encountered a variety of issues and were required to put forth crisis communication tactics and messaging.
I had the opportunity to be assigned CBI Health as our company and was able to emerge myself in the health care sector.

During this time we created an employment reconginition program. Called the CARE program it ensured CBI employees felt appreciated and taken care of. The idea behind the program was to make sure employees weren't stressed out and thinking clearly. As the health care sector can be a crazy and stressful profession and in light of our main issue of a human euthanasia incident we felt in was a neccessary program to implement.
